Happy New Year
Well the festive break is over and hopefully you ate too much,
drank too much, spent way too much time with your family and friends,
but in general had a jolly good time.
Now is the time to look to the year ahead.
“If you listen” to the news, the tabloids and the war mongers
out there we’re all in for a bleak time of it.
“We should tighten our belts batten down the hatches, brave the storm….
Until it all blows over and we start to see the “green shoots” appear again.”
Point being – IF you listen. If you ever see the “green shoots”
All around you, your competitors are grabbing their children hurrying them inside, pulling down the shutters and peering from behind their doors scared to step outside.
The streets are quiet.
The buccaneer rides into town, head held high, waving his banner.
No-one apposes him, he hasn’t any competition. People come to him.
His competitors give him a sideways glance. He cleans up.
This year you must be the buccaneer. Hold your head higher and wave your banner harder than ever.
In every downturn there is an abundance of opportunity.
The opportunity is yours.
